KINGDOM OF SORROW: More 'Behind The Blackest Tears' Making-Of Footage Posted Online
May 21, 2010A six-minute video clip featuring more behind-the-scenes footage from the making of "Behind The Blackest Tears" — the new album from from KINGDOM OF SORROW, the metal project created by Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED) and Kirk Windstein (DOWN, CROWBAR) — can be viewed below.
"Behind The Blackest Tears" will be released in the U.S. on June 8 via Relapse Records. The CD was recorded at Dexter Lab Recordings in Milford, Connecticut with engineer Nick Bellmore and was mixed and mastered by Chris "Zeuss" Harris at Planet Z Recordings in Hadley, Massachusetts.
Commented Jasta: "I'm really excited about the KINGDOM OF SORROW album because I feel like I really went all out this time. I love the first album but I brought way better riffs to the table this time and really brought a different vocal style on a lot of tracks. I think this new album is much more memorable and that the songs are really catchy but still heavy and raw."
KINGDOM OF SORROW released its self-titled debut in early 2008. The band embarked on a 70-city tour in support of the CD and took part in the Ozzfest and Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tours. KINGDOM OF SORROW also released three music videos from the record.
